What's the process?

Our process is clean, efficient and built to last. We repair and prep the concrete, grind it for a permanent bond, apply a high-build polyurea base coat, broadcast decorative flake to full coverage, and finish with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. Most two-car garages are back in use within two to three days.

  1. 1

    Prep and repair

Cracks, pits and chips are filled and the slab is moisture-tested, so there are no surprises underneath your new floor.

  2. 2

    Diamond grinding

Every square foot is mechanically ground with a dust-controlled grinder. No acid etching, ever. This is why the floor doesn't peel.

  3. 3

    Base coat and flake

A pigmented polyurea base goes down and flake is broadcast to full coverage in the color you chose.

  4. 4

    Polyaspartic topcoat

Loose flake is scraped and vacuumed, then the clear topcoat seals everything. It won't yellow in the sun or soften under hot tires.

FAQs

How long does it take?

Prep and base coat on day one, topcoat on day two. You can walk on the floor the next morning and park on it 48 to 72 hours after the topcoat.

Is this epoxy?

No, and that matters in Florida. The base coat is a polyurea, which bonds deeper into ground concrete, stays flexible as the slab moves, and cures fast enough that most garages are done in one day. The topcoat is polyaspartic, which is what resists sunlight, hot tires and chemicals. Plain epoxy yellows in sun, peels under hot tires, and keeps you out of the garage for days.

Will it peel?

Not when the concrete is ground and moisture-tested first, which we do on every job. Peeling almost always comes from skipped prep, and our warranty covers it.

What about cracks and oil stains?

Cracks and pits are repaired before coating. Oil stains are degreased and ground out. Severe moisture or structural problems are pointed out at the quote with an honest recommendation.

Do I need to empty the garage?

Yes, the floor needs to be clear. Bolted-down shelving can usually stay. If you'd rather not move things yourself, ask about the clear-out add-on.

Where do you work?

Jacksonville and surrounding areas. Ask about anything further out.
